Begun in July 2010, this blog recounts the experiences of an American couple spending a year in London. What you'll find here is a collection of stories about our adventures and everyday life, as well as our observations and ruminations about English society and culture. Stick around and you'll read posts about what we buy at the farmers market, English cheeses we like (or don't like), and weekends in Paris (and elsewhere). Don't worry, we'll try to minimize the number of posts in the "English people have funny and/or endearing accents!" and "English children are adorable!" genres.
The blog takes its name from our neighborhood of Dartmouth Park, comfortably situated in postal code NW5, between Hampstead Heath and Junction Road.
