A fan of urban parks for the past 4 years, Becca is thrilled to put to use "The Best of London Parks and Small Green Spaces," a graduation gift from Danny. While not birdwatching in small green spaces, Becca, MD, will be doing research at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, trying to figure out how primary care physicians can better serve their patients and their communities. She is also looking forward to cheap RyanAir flights and perhaps taking the TGV across France, though she is sad to be missing Wildwood 2010. She hopes that the Parliament Hill farmers market has a good selection of cheeses and mushrooms.
His previous stint in the UK having ended in the summer of 2005, Danny is thrilled to be back in England and no longer having to wake up early in the morning to follow the travails of the England cricket team. His professional reason for spending the year in England is researching religion's role in English public life after the Second World War, but he's also pretty excited about the tea and the fact that vegetarian items on restaurant menus are well-marked. In his spare time he enjoys cooking with as much garlic as possible and playing ultimate frisbee. He has his doubts about mushrooms.
